JUNIOR HIGH YOUTH GROUP
Welcome to the St. Francis Junior High Youth Group!
The Junior High Youth Group is an exciting program filled with fun, learning about our faith, service, and prayer for 7th and 8th graders. Everyone is welcome to join us, whether you belong to St. Francis Parish or not. Our door is ALWAYS open!
Junior High Youth Group meets one Friday a month from 7:30-9:00 pm in the lower church, in our Youth Room. Join us for a night of Tom & Jenn’s Stupid Games, hanging out with friends playing pool, ping pong or foose ball, playing Gladiator in the gym, discussing current issues going on in the world and in our lives, praying together, having snacks and SO MUCH MORE!
Each year, in addition to the monthly meetings, we go on trips to Great Adventure, NYC during Christmastime, Medieval Times, have Youth Masses once a month, many FUNdraisers, youth conferences such as Youthfest as well as service projects throughout the year. We are ALWAYS busy meeting new friends, reconnecting with old ones, learning about each other and about God. Come along and join us!
The Junior High youth ministry program works closely with the Faith Formation program. The Youth Ministry program organizes the Confirmation service hours for the 7th and 8th grades. Many service hour opportunities are given throughout the year.
