Mass Guild
For the Deceased or Living
Many parishioners have had the experience of not being able to have a Masscelebrated for a deceased loved one in any time less than a year. The same is true for Special Intentions. Unfortunately, the number of available scheduled Masses in our parish cannot meet the request for them.
To alleviate this problem, we have the First Saturday Novena Mass Guild. This Guild is a parish-based Mass Association whose liturgies are to be celebrated at Saint Francis so that you may attend if you wish.
An individual, living or deceased is enrolled for one year in the Guild and will share in the Mass set aside for the Association on the First Saturday morning of each month at 8:00 AM.
The donor will receive a Special Enrollment Folder to be presented to the individual honored or to the family of the deceased or sick. The donation is $20 for each intention. A registry will be kept listing the names and dates of those enrolled.
A liturgical binder with the names of those enrolled will be placed on the altar during the First Saturday Novena Mass Guild of each month.
We hope this will be of spiritual assistance to our parishioners who seek to remember their loved ones at the Altar.
