SAINT FRANCIS’S FOOD PANTRY

At Saint Francis of Assisi, we recognize Jesus in our brothers and sisters who are in need. Inspired by the Gospel and the command of our Lord to care for the hungry, our Food Pantry serves individuals and families in our community with compassion, dignity, and respect.

The food items provided are supplemental, pre-packaged bags of groceries that vary according to available donations. While these provisions are not intended to meet all of a family's needs, they are offered as a tangible expression of Christian charity and our commitment to serving Christ in one another.

SUPPORTING SAINT FRANCIS’S FOOD PANTRY

The Food Pantry is a ministry of Christian charity, sustained by the generosity of our parishioners, friends, neighbors, and volunteers who answer Christ's call to feed the hungry and care for those most in need. Every donation and every hour of service is a living witness to the Gospel and a work of mercy offered in His name.

As a parish ministry, we depend entirely on the generosity of our parish family, local schools, organizations, businesses, charitable fundraisers, food drives, and memorial gifts offered in memory of loved ones. We receive no government funding or outside financial support. Through Divine Providence and the faithful stewardship of so many generous hearts, God continues to bless this ministry, allowing us to provide nourishment, hope, and the love of Christ to families in their time of need.

Food donations may be placed in the church vestibule or dropped off at the sacristy before or after any Mass.

Monetary donations may be placed in the weekly collection basket (please indicate "Food Pantry" on the envelope or memo line) or mailed to:

Thank you for helping us continue the work of Christian charity. Through your generosity, we are able to serve our neighbors and live out the words of our Lord: "For I was hungry and you gave me food" (Matthew 25:35).

Saint Francis’s Food Pantry relies on the generosity of parishioners and friends to assist individuals and families in need throughout our community. By sharing what God has entrusted to us, we participate in the Church's mission of serving Christ in the poor and the hungry.
