Bereavement Ministry
Bereavement groups are one of the main sources available to support anyone who has experienced pain from the loss of a loved one. Currently, members of our parish family in need of such a group can attend sessions at either Englewood, Holy Name, or Hackensack Hospitals.
Volunteers Needed
As an expansion of our Bereavement Ministry, we are looking to start a Loss & Healing Ministry. Therefore, we are seeking 4 individuals as facilitators to oversee these meetings. The Loss & Healing Ministry sessions run approximately 1 hour per week over an 8-week period. If you are interested in becoming a certified grief counselor, courses are offered at the Archdiocese of Newark. The course is a 12-hour training program, which consists of 6 weeks of 2-hour sessions.
